Elegance
Suppleness
Harmony
Have you ever watched a horse and rider compete with never a wrong step?  Did you ever watch in awe as the two athletes moved in complete unison with seemingly never a cue between them?  Have you ever thought the team seems to read each others' minds?

...Well- you are almost right... they are reading each others bodies.

At JDPH both students and horses are taught to move in harmony with each other.  Always creating the correct action.  Always creating the perfect next movement.

Is it always so perfect?  Of course not.  Riding correctly is an extremely difficult and demanding task, both mentally and physically.  Each horse is an individual with strengths and weaknesses that must be considered.

Whether training a horse or rider- time and attention to detail MUST be taken to ensure correctness.

At JDPH, we can ensure you that level of commitment.  To you, to your horse, to your future.
